Dear Bernd and Linda,
We had a super time staying on your property and meeting you both.  You have a wonderful place and we enjoyed every bit of it.  I would certainly love to come back to your property sometime.  Anyway, thanks again for the 70 degree weather and perfect accommodations.  PS: What a beautiful book you also put together...we have thoroughly enjoyed it.

My husband and I, both in our twenties stayed here February 6 for a week.  The house was perfect for all our needs!  We took advantage of the full kitchen and cooked quite a bit.  We came to ski for the first time and by recommendation from Berny, went to Monarch abt an hr and a half away and we ended up going there all 3 days to ski for the great deal and kind people.  We will definitely stay here again.  It was a perfect location between anywhere you would like to go!  Berny and Linda were excellent hosts.  It was completely private until you needed something.  Then they were always more than happy to help!  Highly recommended!!!

Review of Haus Edelweiss

My wife, daughter and I stayed for one week at the Haus Edelweiss last December.  We really enjoyed the accomodations.  We were able to sled, snowshoe and cross country ski almost in front of the property and Breckenridge skiing was just a short drive from the location.  The apartment was like new and clean.  Having a new washer and dryer was a definite plus for our needs.  It was very comfortable.  The hosts were friendly, helpful and knowledgable of the area.  We would definitely stay there again.  Great! 4 star location tucked away.

Excellent Place, Good Time

A Very nicely laid-out (basement level) apartment; tastefully furnished and decorated.  Very clean.  All new high quality appliances.  Humidifiers.  Bernie, the host, is very accommodating - bought a new DVD player after we got some difficulties with connection of our laptop to the TV.  We were budget-traveling to ski at Breck and opted for this apartment because of its relative closeness to ski slopes and other outdoor activities.  Our two teenager sons slept on the sofa in the big room.  Worked well for them.  Few nights were very cold, but we turned on electric heaters and it was OK.  Highly recommended!  PS would be nice to see this area in spring time.  Should be amazing!

This ground floor apartment was perfect for my husband and me.  It was spotless upon our arrival.  It was very nicely furnished and very well-equipped.  Owner/host is very knowledgeable about the area.  The washer & dryer were a plus.  The bathroom is very large and hot water is plentiful.  We would definitely return to stay here and recommend it to other couples.

Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

GREAT PLACE; GREAT HOST!

Highly recommended getaway that is near great hiking, fishing and with a short drive to Breckenridge shopping and dining.  Fairplay has all the necessities -- plus some very interesting places to check out.  The description and pictures of the apartment tell most of the story, but might be a bit understated as to comfort and amenities.  Views of the mosquito mountains are gorgeous.  The host is did a superb job of taking care of us.  He is also an expert in local hiking and outdoor activities and is a ready resource for helping to make a visit to the area a great experience.  I will certainly go back at the first opportunity!!
